STEM Incentive Program
NY-AIMS ScholarshipThe NYS Achievement and Investment in Merit Scholarship (NY-AIMS) provides merit-based scholarships to NYS high school graduates who achieved academic excellence as a high school student, and enroll or plan to enroll in a public or private NYS college immediately after high school. Applicants must have achieved at least two of the following during high school:
- have graduated with a grade point average (GPA) of 3.3 or above;
- have graduated “with honors” on a New York State Regents diploma or received a score of 3 or higher on two or more Advanced Placement (or AP) examinations;
- have graduated within the top 15% of his or her high school class.

The Army ROTC scholarship application in now available online. High School Juniors considering college and military service may start the application now. Tuition, fees, books and stipend are all part of the scholarship.
One goal of the ROTC program is to produce military officers.

FASNY HELPFiremen's Association of the State of New York Higher Education Learning Plan is a tuition reimbursement program for students attending community colleges up to 80 credit hours. Courses in any area can be taken. Student volunteers are eligible to have up to 100% of their tuition paid to them in exchange for fulfilling specific requirements with a volunteer fire department. This incentive is being offered to help address a shortage of members with New York Volunteer Fire Departments.
